Victor Ives was a born entertainer and considered by many to be a broadcasting legend. His career spanned decades nationally but he was best known by Oregonians for his time on the air on KEX and his ultra campy horror TV show "Sinister Cinema" which ran on KATU in the 70's and a special reunion in the 80's. Later, Ives owned and ran hit chr radio station, Magic 107.5. He brought the CW to Portland Television and launched KVIX radio where he ran his collection of Golden Age of Radio broadcasts. Above all, he was a family man who loved his wife, children, and the vast myriad of family pets. Victor passed away at the Lake Oswego family horse farm in December 2014. Victor's beloved wife Carol followed him in March, 2025. While the Ives' children and their spouses have kept some precious memories, Victor and Carol have left behind a treasure trove of memorbillia that reflects their lifetime passions; radio, equine arts, film, antiques, jewelry, Spode, vintage advertising tins, and more.
